Recently I wrote a response to the question, "What is worship?" I've been thinking more about this and believe it can be more simply stated while at the same time growing in profundity.
The elements of Revelation 14:6-7 remain. To worship is to grasp (as best we can) who and what we are as sinners and redeemed, and to grasp (also as best we can) Who God is as Creator and Redeemer. The mind(s) that reach for these understandings will be compelled to "...be still and know that (He) is God") [Psalms 46:10].
