"And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind." [Luke 12:292].
In times like these...or on a day like today...there is enough worry and concern going around to get almost anyone down. But them comes the words of Christ, "...nor have an anxious mind..." Can I do that? Can I really be at peace with so much chaos, corruption, and wickedness of every species filling the earth? Nations releasing the "safety" on their weapons; belligerence from leaders of nations large and small...strong and weak. And what does Christ say? "...nor have an anxious mind..." Memorize this verse; especially the last five words.
