God's Aerobaticists...The Swallows

The heaviest rains have stopped; insects are flying, and so are the swallows. It's hard to count, but there must be more than two dozen swallows flying low over the lake, feeding on bugs. Swallows are, perhaps, one of the most expert of birds at aerobatics; the art of quick and complicated in-flight  maneuvers.
Once, in the month of May we were sitting in the sun and noticed flying insects emerging from the ground all around us. In mere moments the swallows were there, darting through the air; inches above our heads. These masters of flight can turn on a dime and leave change. No need for insecticides and sprays when the swallows put on their display. Beautiful! Amazing! Day (swallows, dragonflies, etc) and night (bats) God has ways of dealing with flying insects that "bug" us. (There's a word from the 70's). Day and night, God has ways of dealing with temptations and weaknesses that bug us; flying in and around our heads. All we have to do is to ask and we will receive. Blessings. e.c.
