...And This Gospel Shall Be...

One of the promises of Christ's return is linked to the preaching of the Gospel. It goes like this: "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come." [Matthew 24:14].
Think about this: It's already done. Yes, it is! Tell me of a place on the face of the earth where, by radio, satellite radio, satellite television, streaming computer, cell phone, Internet, Ipod, DVD, CD, or cara a cara (face to face), the message of the Gospel cannot be heard. Right! There is no such place. Of course, not all the world will accept the message, but if there is any person who wants to hear the message, it's there. So what does this mean?? It means that the world-wide meltdown that is shaking and reshaping the world is prelude to the coming of Christ.
Should we be afraid? No! This is a good time to re-learn Psalms 91 and John 14:1-3. It's always a good time to memorize Scripture no matter how good or bad times may be, and who will argue that these are not bad times. Skeptics will argue that it's all part of the bigger picture; that is, a cycle. Like the weather, gasoline prices, unemployment, finances, housing prices, food prices, civil unrest, wars and rumors of wars, terrorism, bankruptcy, and wickedness overflowing the land like a flood.
I will be the first to agree in the reality and history of cyclical events. But all of these at once, all over the world? That's not cyclical that's Apocalyptic. The Eschaton is here! (from the Greek, "Eschatos; the last").
So what do we do? Follow these simple directions: Go! (and) "Tell." As I've said before, Go, Tell, and let the Holy Spirit do the rest.
Even so come Lord Jesus.
God Bless! e.c.
