Somewhere around 3:00 a.m. the power went out and it didn't come back online until 6:00 p.m. We fared well: lunch of sorts at Denny's; bundled up to stave off the cold inside that should have stayed outside; water heated with a camping stove; and each other. The wife made hot soup for supper and I commented; "Having hot soup on a cold day is like soaking your soul in a hot soapy tub. Mmmmm.
