Decisions...decisions...what to do?

Jeremiah was a lot like Noah; he preached, but nobody really listened or cared. Noah preached and built for 120 years and eight souls were saved in the ark. That amounts to 1 person "baptized" and brought into the ark of the church every 15 years. Jeremiah's converts were  fewer to none...if I remember correctly. (Would we give our tithes and offerings if it meant one new soul added to the church every fifteen years? Just a thought.)
The children of Israel were burning incense and pouring drink offerings to pagan gods. They were burning their sons as offerings to Baal [Jeremiah 19:4, 5].
Over and over, God stretched out His hand to this stubborn nation but they would not relent nor repent. "And they said, 'That is hopeless! So we will walk according to our own plans, and we will every one obey the dictates of his evil heart.'" [Jeremiah 18:12].
And God said, "Behold, I set before you the way of life and the way of death." [Jeremiah 21:8, Deuteronomy 30: 15 and 19].
Christ continues to call and longs for us to choose Him; to choose life.
Blessings. e.c.
